The T5V is an extremely budget-friendly 2-way near-field monitor, optimised for use in smaller control rooms.
The T5V features a 5" woofer that delivers bass extension down to 45 Hz. The new U-ART offers an uncoloured and extended high-frequency response up to 25 kHz, representing a groundbreaking solution for high-resolution recording and mixing on a tight budget. The U-ART tweeter is equipped with a precision waveguide that offers the same excellent dispersion characteristics as the High-Frequency Propagation Waveguide (HPS) used in the S-Series studio monitors. The waveguide’s very even reproduction of high frequencies ensures an incredibly wide sweet spot, sparing you the need to remain in a fixed position whilst working.
A new cabinet with a small footprint, bevelled edges and a rear-firing bass reflex port allows it to be placed anywhere in the room, no matter how small. The T5V also features DSP-controlled crossovers and equaliser, as well as analogue connection options (XLR/RCA). Powered by a 50 W Class-D amplifier for the woofer and a 20 W Class-D amplifier for the U-ART tweeter, the T5V achieves impressive peak levels of 106 dB SPL per pair.
With its excellent acoustic characteristics, compact dimensions and outstanding value for money, this studio monitor is ideally suited for use in small control rooms for music production, video post-production and broadcasting.
For those who need even more low-end: the T5V is compatible with the ADAM Sub7 and Sub8 subwoofers.
