Easy integration of external callers:

Interviews with external callers are child's play with the L-8: simply connect your telephone using the TRRS cable supplied. The mix-minus function makes it easy to prevent bidirectional feedback that can occur when communicating with the caller. Or you can route audio signals from Skype, FaceTime, Hangouts, Slack and many more directly via the USB interface.

Zoom's preamps are famous for good reasons: they sound transparent, are very powerful and absolutely reliable. The L-8 integrates six separate Zoom preamps, allowing you to easily handle any signal from a whisper to a loud debate.

Listen to yourself:

If you can't hear yourself, how can you make your point? The L-8 has four headphone outputs, so every participant can hear exactly what's going on at all times.

One track - for everyone:

The pros know that it definitely sounds better and gives you more flexibility in post-production if you record each source on its own track. The L-8 stores each track individually on the SD card so you can easily edit them later.

The Zoom LiveTrak L-8 can run for up to 2.5 hours on just four type AA batteries or a portable USB battery, so you can podcast just about anywhere.

The unique USB connectivity ensures that accidental dropouts are eliminated.

Record twice - in one go:

When used as an audio interface, the L-8 can record full episodes simultaneously to your computer and to an SD card. You can also stream live while recording.

Once you have created your mix...you should save it! The L-8 allows you to save up to 7 scenes, which you can then save and load at the touch of a button.

The L-8 has six powerful preamps, each with switchable phantom power, high dynamics (-121 dBU ON) and a maximum input gain of +54 dB. In addition, high-impedance Hi-Z, line and USB connections are available for two inputs each. You can process each channel via an EQ and with internal effects.

Real multitrack recording:

With the L-8, you can record up to 10 separate tracks and a stereo mix with a resolution of up to 24 bit/96 kHz* directly onto an SD card. The punch-in/out and overdub functions are available for editing, and you can also transfer the recordings to your favourite DAW for post-processing if required.

*When operating at 96 kHz, the EQ, overdub function and operation as an audio interface are not available
