Bell: New lighter bell with optimised material thickness. Easy response and improved endurance. Valve material: Monel metal. Improved sound and durability. Valve cover and buttons: New design. The slightly more solid shape gives the player additional tone colours. Loosening to oil the valves is also easy for children to handle. Slide production: Multi-part slide production process. Provides more tone colours, improved playing feel and simplifies repairs. Leadpipe: Reversed type. Good response and pleasant playing feel. Support: Main tuning slide. Support on the main tuning slide ensures a focussed, pithy sound that never breaks.
For the first time, Yamaha has developed a student trumpet with a "reversed type" main tuning slide, which makes it unique in terms of playing feel and response. The YTR-3335 also has an additional support on the main tuning slide for a more consistent and solid sound. The newly designed two-piece yellow brass bell has been perfectly adapted to the needs of students - it has a very light response and an ideal material thickness. This makes it easy for students to get started and develop a first-class sound.
