The one-piece hand-hammered bell of the new 82Z alto saxophone offers a better response in the low notes, a robust sound and a smooth transition from the low to the middle register. The elaborate new engraving gives the instrument an attractive appearance.
The metal resonators offer excellent response and a wider dynamic range. Both high and low registers respond quickly and clearly, making fast passages easier to play.
The V1 S-bow has the largest bore of all Yamaha Custom S-bows. It is very open and free, offering a wide dynamic range and a robust sound with an abundance of overtones.
The improved low B/C# connection ensures precise closing of the low C# key and a more secure response of the low notes.
The new lighter thumb hook and thumb plate bases give the instrument an improved response and a more compact sound.
The adjustable fork F key allows the musician to customise the opening angle.
The new 82Z comes with a lightweight case with shoulder straps.
