A little more resistance gives you a powerful sound, while the split key guard ensures musical flexibility. The ergonomics, playability and intonation of the instrument are first class - as you would expect from Yamaha.
The YAS/YTS-480 saxophones are based on the popular YAS/YTS-475 models and feature a new low B/C# joint for more precise adjustment, while the new octave action (from the 62 series) allows the use of custom S-bows.
