SUPER ARTICULATION+

Instruments often produce different sounds depending on how the notes are played. For example, stringed instruments can be bowed or plucked. Until now, you had to switch between the voices on your keyboard to access these different sounds. With the new Super Articulation Plus Voices (S.Art+), you can now instantly switch between articulations at the touch of a button.

LIVE CONTROLS & ASSIGNABLE KEYS

During a performance, quick access to important functions is crucial. With 8 assignable panel buttons and 6 shortcuts on the home screen, you can instantly access your favourite functions with a single touch. Assign functions such as sound filtering or style dynamics control to the Live Control knobs to edit them in real time.

CHORD LOOPER

The new panel buttons give you quick access to record and play back chord progressions in real time.

Whether you want to keep your left hand free to play an entire piano, build up sections of a song or practise a difficult piece of music, the Chord Looper allows you to store up to 8 chord progressions in each bank for easy access during your performance.

You can create an unlimited number of banks with your own chord progressions or choose from a range of built-in presets.

CROSSFADE PORTAMENTO

Portamento is a musical technique that smooths out pitch changes and creates a smooth transition between notes. The crossfade portamento function in the PSR-SX provides a smooth transition between the notes you play, adding expressive dynamics and emotional depth to your performance.

PLAYLIST

Playlists are the best way to organise your registration memory banks into convenient playlists that you can instantly recall during your performance.

With the updated user interface, playlist entries can be sorted from A to Z or from Z to A. You can jump through playlist records alphabetically and filter by a specific term in the records.

If you import MusicFinder records from an older instrument, the style name is automatically transferred to the new playlist record name.

TOUCHSCREEN

The PSR-SX has a central 7-inch touchscreen that is clearly visible both when standing and sitting. The intuitive graphical user interface allows you to intuitively control the instrument's powerful functions and gives you everything you need at the touch of a finger.
