The Slöer Stereo Ambient Reverb builds on Walrus Audio’s popular Slö series, but also offers two additional reverb algorithms, stereo width control, two extra modulation waveforms and the option to adjust the sampling rate. Create immersive, dense, modulated, dreamy and spacious soundscapes with more width and depth than ever before!
By pressing and holding the Bypass and Sustain switches simultaneously, you can save your favourite settings to three preset slots. Pressing the Bypass and Sustain switches simultaneously for a short time cycles through the presets. Five different reverb modes can be selected using the rotary switch. In addition to the three popular Slö modes – Dark (low octave), Rise (spatial and swelling) and Dream (long, expansive reverb) – two new modes have been added: Rain (delay taps with diffusion) and Light (shimmer reverb with high octave). The rotary switch is also used to switch between the five different waveforms for modulating the reverb tail. Slöer offers a unique combination of intense modulation, long, washed-out reverb tails and an immersive stereo sound. The reverb’s sample rate can be adjusted using the Stretch control. The sample rate determines how often the audio signal is sampled and processed by the DSP chip. A reduced sample rate results in longer reverb times, a darker tone, and adds to the signal.
