The “Lag” control determines the basic character of the effect (from gentle modulation to strong “detune”)
Switchable LFO waveforms: Sine, Triangle & Random
‘d-c-v’ determines the mix ratio between the dry signal and the effect sound (dry-chorus-vibrato)
All tonal variations from chorus to vibrato can be used
Tap tempo function via built-in footswitch or external tap switch
Tap division: rhythmic subdivision of the tap tempo into quarter notes, eighth notes or quarter triplets
‘Secondary Rate’ function for temporary ‘ramp-up’ or ‘ramp-down’ sounds
Activatable ‘Drift’ function: modulation of the Rate parameter (intensity adjustable)
Expression pedal input for depth, rate or both parameters simultaneously
Bypass and tap via ‘soft-switches’ for silent switching
‘Smart Bypass’ temporarily activates the effects pedal whilst the bypass switch is held down
Ideally suited to bass guitar (thanks to the adjustable ‘dry-wet ratio’ via the d-c-v control)

Building on the rich, analogue soundscapes of the JULIA Chorus/Vibrato, the JULIANNA Stereo Chorus/Vibrato pedal offers enhanced functionality via a new digital tap control – whilst the sound remains, of course, 100 per cent analogue. JULIANNA delivers sounds ranging from a subtle chorus to a dizzying vibrato and everything in between. The controls successfully introduced on the JULIA – ‘Lag’, ‘d-c-v’ (Dry-Chorus-Vibrato), as well as a selector switch for the LFO waveform, are also featured here, but have been expanded with additional functions: thanks to the activatable ‘Drift’ function (continuous fluctuations in the set ‘Rate’ value), Secondary Rate (for temporary ramp-up/ramp-down sounds triggered by foot pressure) and connection options for an expression pedal and tap switch, it is possible to create sounds that cannot be found in any traditional chorus pedal.
