With the Canvas Passive Re-Amp, Walrus Audio presents yet another tool for your musical palette, opening up new possibilities for crafting your sound. The Re-Amp is a studio tool that allows you to route previously recorded tracks – such as guitar, drums or other instruments – from your DAW session through external pedals and effects or other amplifier combinations. In this way, the Re-Amp opens up entirely new ways to experiment with your songs. During recording sessions, you can save time by recording the tracks ‘dry’ first. These line signals are then converted via the Re-Amp’s specially wound transformer and optimised for use with external amps and guitar effects pedals. This opens up an almost limitless range of sounds.
