The VIS-AP4C wireless access point serves as a radio antenna for the VIS-DCP2000-W control centre. The integration of wireless intercom stations is only possible in conjunction with this access point. It is connected directly to the control centre via CAT5 cabling or, if several access points are to be used simultaneously, via a network switch.
The typical range is 30 metres. Up to 8 AccessPoints can be operated simultaneously. This means that even very large conferences can be realised.
The AP works with digital 128-bit encryption with WAP2 key, MAC address filtering and SSID password protection to prevent unauthorised eavesdropping
