In fact, the PERfourMER MKII consists of four fully-fledged monophonic analogue synthesizers (synthesizer channels), which you can combine in any way you like to create both extraordinary and classic timbres.
The synthesiser channel
The analogue oscillator with five waveforms and the noise generator produce the source material, which then passes through the musical 24 dB low-pass filter with adjustable resonance before its volume is shaped by the discrete VCA. Modulation sources include the extensively synchronisable LFO and the envelope generator with adjustable Attack, Decay, Sustain and Release parameters. With these alone, you can effortlessly create a wide spectrum of diverse sounds of the highest quality; to make this sonic journey as easy as possible, the PERfourMER MKII features a dedicated control for every function!
It’s the combination that makes the difference
The PERfourMER MKII reveals its true potential when you combine multiple synthesiser channels: whether through mutual frequency modulation or synchronisation, the PLAYMODE, or—best of all—all of these together. The possibilities are endless, and you decide whether you’d rather use the PERfourMER MKII as a four-voice synthesiser or as an orchestra of individual instruments.
Digital or analogue control
The PERfourMER MKII comes equipped with a MIDI interface as standard. Do you prefer an analogue sequencer with CV and gate outputs? No problem – we can optionally fit your PERfourMER MKII with the relevant inputs at the factory.
