With the Apollo e1x, you can add remotely controllable Unison™ mic/line preamps to your Apollo x16D interface, allowing you to use legendary preamp sounds from API, Neve, Manley, SSL and others on stage, at FOH or in your multi-room studio via the Dante®.


Expand your Apollo x16D with Unison preamps

The Apollo e1x connects to your Apollo x16D via Dante, allowing you to add a Unison mic/line preamp anywhere on your network. Place the e1x on stage, in your recording rooms or at the lectern, and control it easily via the UAD Console app.

With Unison technology, you can enjoy the classic sound of mic preamps from API, Neve, Manley, SSL and more – so your live mixes have the distinctive character, sound and detail of the preamps you hear on your favourite albums.


For use with any Dante audio network

The Apollo e1x can be used as a remotely controllable mic/line preamp over any Dante network without an Apollo x16D interface, ideal for expanding your inputs – from additional stage rack connections and front-of-house monitoring microphones to a tamper-proof lectern preamp – regardless of which Dante-enabled interface you’re using.

Need more microphone preamps? No problem! Use the supplied coupling clamp and the microphone stand mount (with threaded attachment) to securely connect multiple Apollo e1x preamps, ensuring a neat, organised setup wherever you are.
