The 4-710d is the most flexible mic preamp in UA's lineup, combining the best of UA's classic analogue design approach with smart, modern features and workflow enhancements.

The 4-710d features four high-end mic/line preamps with the unique crossfade circuitry for the tube/transistor preamps, as well as classic 1176-style compression for each mic channel. It also offers a variety of digital I/Os to expand your setup.

At the heart of the 4-710d are the four channels of the tone-blending "Twin-Finity" microphone preamplifier. Each channel offers a 100% tube and a 100% transformer signal path, as well as the option of continuously mixing the two circuits. This gives you super flexible textures from creamy to crunchy and allows you to mix in the perfect amount of tube grip or transistor shimmer at any time.

A legendary compression circuit:

Each of the 4-710d's four channels contains an 1176-style compressor with true bypass, including specially tuned "fast" and "slow" settings. This allows quick optimisations to be made on the fly to make a vocal sound a little fatter, to anchor a bass better in the mix or to give synthesizers and horns a little bounce or additional textures.

With its eight analogue inputs, the 4-710d is perfect for expanding your studio. Digitised via extremely high-quality 24-bit A/D converters in selectable sampling rates up to 192 kHz, the 4-710d can be easily connected to most interfaces via its dual ADAT optical connectors or AES/EBU DB-25 connector blocks.
