With the TX-6, Teenage Engineering presents a professional 6-channel stereo mixer with a multifunctional audio interface in an ultra-compact handheld design.

The palm-sized aluminium housing is packed with clever features such as tempo sync, crossfade mode, synthesizer with sequencer, 2 stereo effect units and tuner. The USB rechargeable battery enables mobile use for up to 7 hours. Thanks to BluetoothLE, the TX-6 can be used as a midi controller and remote control for a second TX-6.


With the latest firmware update 1.2.12, some exciting new functions are available.


Sampling:

Sampling mode allows you to record and play back samples of up to 5.5 seconds with each of the 6 track buttons.

The samples can be recorded in real time and subsequently edited in terms of pitch and start and end points.


Looping:

Looper mode allows you to record and play loops up to 22 seconds long.


Split AUX option + improved sync:

The update offers an option for dual-mono AUX sends in the mix and an improved sync function for synchronisation with other devices via the Sync16 output, including a new start/stop signal.


Detuning:

The oscillators of the synthesiser can now be detuned and adjusted in the groovebox.
