With the SL-1200MK7, Technics is now expanding its successful range of DJ turntables to include a model in silver. The new SL-1200MK7 boasts the same technical features and ease of use as the SL-1210MK7, which has become a favourite amongst the vinyl DJ community worldwide since its launch in January 2019.
Adjustable start and braking torque
The SL-1210MK7 impresses with innovative motor control technologies. These have been primarily utilised and perfected in the latest generation of Blu-ray players. Thanks to a microcomputer, the controller handles both normal playback and more demanding DJ applications – such as scratching – with ease. Furthermore, the start torque and deceleration speed can be adjusted to suit individual preferences.
Pitch function for fine-tuning the speed
The rotational speed of the SL-1210MK7 can be set to 33-1/3, 45 or 78 rpm.* The pitch adjustment range is ±8%/±16%. This enables highly precise and stable fine-tuning of the speed, as well as perfect matching of, for example, two SL-1210MK7 units during DJ performance. *The 78 rpm setting is activated via the main on/off switch.
Reverse Play function
If the speed button and the start/stop button are pressed simultaneously, the platter rotates in the opposite direction*. This opens up new, creative possibilities for the DJ. *The reverse play function is activated via the main on/off switch.
*The cartridge must be designed for scratching.
