The SS-CDR250N network-compatible solid-state/CD recorder and player offers a wide range of control options for professional applications, for example in broadcasting organisations or fixed installations. It records in WAV and MP3 format on SD/SDHC/SDXC and USB sticks or in MP3 and audio CD format on CD via a space-saving retractable drive. As the recorder is able to connect to an FTP server via a network, it can automatically upload files after recording or download files for playback. Time synchronisation via SNTP is also possible.
Compared to conventional recorders, the SS-CDR250N offers more security for your valuable files with its two SD card slots. It can create backups on the second memory card during recording or switch to the second card as soon as the capacity on the first card runs out. It also closes files automatically if the power fails during recording so that the entire recording session is not lost.
The SS-CDR250N can be controlled in various ways: The RC-SS150 remote control offers a convenient interface with LC colour display and 12 instant start buttons. There is also a dedicated app for iOS and Android devices, which can be used to control the transport and make various settings. Or you can use the serial and parallel interfaces to integrate the recorder into existing environments.
Balanced and unbalanced analogue inputs and outputs as well as coaxial SPDIF and AES/EBU digital inputs and outputs with sample rate converters are available for audio connections. An optional Dante interface card provides a two-channel input and output for Dante audio networks.
