The Tascam MZ-123BT is a compact, single height, multi-channel, multi-zone audio mixer for professional installations. It offers flexible routing, mixing and distribution of up to three music or voice channels for use in commercial environments such as retail, restaurants, bars, cafés, hotels or any other environment that requires independent routing and announcement functions. The Bluetooth-enabled MZ-123BT is simple and intuitive to use. Its two versatile microphone inputs feature a talkover function that automatically mutes background music during announcements or paging for excellent intelligibility.
Three separate zone outputs with volume control allow background music to be distributed to specific areas or rooms in a restaurant, hotel, retail shop or other commercial environment. Three balanced stereo outputs with Euroblock connectors for fixed installation are accessible via the rear panel. Each output can output the signal in either mono or stereo. Two stereo line inputs (RCA, unbalanced) allow the connection of AV devices such as Tascam CD/solid-state players or similar playback devices. Channel 3 has an Aux/Bluetooth input, which can be used to play an additional audio source via Bluetooth or a 3.5 mm jack plug. Each input has a volume control and three zone selection buttons for distributing the sound signals to the desired areas or rooms. The MZ-123BT has a special Bluetooth antenna on the front. This ensures consistent stability of the radio signal and therefore reliability when streaming source material from a Bluetooth-enabled device - even in signal-demanding environments. For announcements or presentations, the MZ-123BT offers two microphone inputs with separately switchable 48-volt phantom power for condenser microphones, a talkover function and zone selection via pushbuttons on the front.
Two microphones can be connected via Euroblock connectors on the rear, while an additional XLR/TRS combo socket on the front allows an alternative microphone to be quickly connected and selected via a switch on the front.
