With the DP-006 you are ready wherever creativity takes you. With its stereo condenser microphone built into the front panel, this compact, battery-powered multitrack recorder is ideal for recording on location. Record vocals or acoustic instruments at any time - without additional equipment or set-up time. Use the stand adapter for optimum set-up and positioning. With analogue controls, chromatic tuning, metronome and ultra-lightweight construction, this pocket studio is one of the easiest-to-use composing tools on the market.
The DP-006 has two jack inputs for connecting external microphones, an electro-acoustic guitar or a line level source (e.g. synthesiser). An optional adapter cable can also be used to connect a tablet computer such as an iPad. Recordings are saved directly to standard SD/SDHC cards (a 2 GB card is already included). You can easily exchange your song ideas with other devices at any time via the USB 2.0 interface or a card reader. Basic editing functions are also available.
To enable longer operating times, the USB port of the DP-006 can be connected directly to a Tascam BP-6AA battery pack (sold separately).
