With only one height unit in the rack, the compact BD-MP4K saves space by eliminating the need for separate audio/video playback devices in an installation rack. It handles a wide range of media and file formats on discs (Blu-ray/DVD/CD), USB sticks, SD cards and SMB network shares on a NAS or remote server via Gigabit Ethernet.

Easy integration into media systems:

For integrated media systems where remote control beyond infrared is desired, the BD-MP4K offers both an RS-232C interface and an IP network connection. The RS-232C interface allows seamless and reliable communication between devices with status feedback, while Gigabit Ethernet simplifies integration into larger systems and thus the mutual control of components.

In addition to remote control operation, all playback functions can also be called up locally via the control panel if required. Separate locking functions for the control panel, disc tray and IR remote control prevent accidental changes or unauthorised use if required.

Screens or televisions can be connected quickly and easily via two plug-and-play HDMI connections on the rear, which support both HDMI 2.0 and HDMI 1.4 (audio only) formats.

Professional functions:

Start playback on power and repeat function: Thanks to its automatic switch-on function, the BD-MP4K is able to start playback as soon as it is supplied with power. If the repeat function is activated at the same time, the device automatically starts playback and continues it in an endless loop until the power supply is disconnected again. In fixed installations, this means that by switching on the integrated AV system once, announcements, commercials or other content will play in a loop without having to press a button on the device itself

Control panel lock for secure operation: Lock functions for the control panel and disc tray allow you to protect the device from accidental setting changes or unauthorised use. In addition, you can prevent control via the infrared remote control, for example to prevent preset parameters from being changed in a commercial environment and thus ensure consistently reliable operation in any media system

Elegant switch-on sequence on the display: The monitor display can be set so that a black screen appears at the start instead of the manufacturer's start page with menu items. This creates a much more elegant visual impression when the system is switched on

Two HDMI outputs for projectors, screens and sound systems: You can easily and reliably connect any HDMI-compatible monitor, projector or TV to the standard HDMI output via plug-and-play. This output also supports HDMI CEC. This ensures that the connected display is switched on and off in the correct order

Prepared for 7.1 surround systems: Separate outputs for 7.1 surround sound are available for impressive and rich audio playback in commercial audio systems. Use these outputs to feed a suitable surround amplifier or separate power amplifiers for larger rooms

Remote control via an Ethernet network and RS-232C: For more sophisticated audio/video setups, the BD-MP4K with RS-232C and Ethernet offers two professional options for bidirectional remote control with seamless, reliable feedback of the device status

The supplied infrared remote control allows easy operation of most functions and menus. Easily accessible control buttons on the front of the BD-MP4K provide access to the transport functions play, pause, stop and fast forward as well as menu navigation. The control panel can be locked if required, for example to prevent tampering by unauthorised persons.
