STAR is TAMA Drums’ flagship range. It takes the expertise and research we have developed for the Starclassic series to the next level by re-examining every detail to enhance the resonance of the shells.
Walnut has long been favoured by furniture makers for its beauty and durability. As a material for drum shells, walnut’s natural EQ tone is praised by the drumming community both on stage and in the studio. The STAR Walnut shells project a rumbling low end with enough cut to be heard in any mix.
