The Mod Bubinga has a depth of 7", giving the smaller shell a distinctive dynamic sound that might not otherwise be achievable. The 12x7" snare is made of Bubinga, a naturally deep, rich and resonant wood, and has a solid crack that gives it a significant body. In addition, the snare is equipped with Tama's Sound Arc hoops, which deliver a crisp, clear attack and give the snare a natural and open resonance with clear definition. With a wide tuning range, the Mod Bubinga responds naturally and sensitively to every hit, capturing every fine detail even at lower pitches.
