The sounds of a vibe pedal can be magical, especially in combination with a slightly distorted amp. This sound has captivated players such as Jimi Hendrix, Robin Trower, David Gilmour and Doyle Bramhall II and is still very much in demand today.
Until now, these authentic sounds have been big and expensive. With Strymon UltraViolet this is now changing!
UltraViolet is a super accurate recreation of the classic vibe sound that started with the original Shin-Ei Univibe® in the late 60s. But Strymon wouldn't be Strymon if they didn't add a little extra flexibility. In addition to the original chorus (50/50) and vibrato (100% wet) settings, there's a new blend mode to create a 70/30 mix for a more subtle effect.
In addition, Strymon has added three different bias settings that can be used to fundamentally change the thump and growl of the vibrato sound.
