The new EPM series from Soundcraft combines quality, favourable price and a simple user interface in three models. Components with low tolerances enable accurate settings, which are particularly important for the preamplifier and equaliser.
The EPM series offers three models with 6, 8 or 12 mono channels and 2 stereo channels each. For the first time in this price range, the GB30 preamplifier design is used, which is also used in the GB series consoles. These preamplifiers are extremely overload-resistant. They have a control range of 55 dB and provide +22 dB headroom. Phantom power supplies condenser microphones of all types with real +48 volts.
A 3-band equaliser with tunable mids, two aux buses, insert sockets for the channels and the sum, a 10-way LED chain and professional XLR and jack sockets (Neutrik) complete the extensive range of features.
A switching power supply is integrated and the mains cable socket is positioned so that no additional height units need to be taken into account for rack mounting. The Soundcraft EPM series is suitable for live sound reinforcement, fixed installations and recording applications.
