The EFX series consists of two models. For a favourable price, the console offers high quality and a simple user interface. The components used have low tolerances. This enables accurate tuning, which is particularly important for the preamplifier and equaliser.
Both models in the EFX series offer 8 or 12 mono channels and 2 stereo channels each. For the first time in this price range, the GB30 preamplifier design is used, which is also used in the consoles of the GB series. These preamps are extremely overload-resistant. They have a control range of 55 dB and provide +22 dB headroom. Phantom power supplies condenser microphones of all types with real +48 volts.
The Lexicon effects section is equipped with a high-quality 24-bit processor - incidentally the same Audio DNA processor that is also used in the Lexicon MX400. 32 effect presets are available. These can also be changed and saved by the user in three parameters. A mute (mute) function and PFL (monitoring) option and the TAP delay feature optimise the possible applications.
A 3-band equaliser with tunable mids, two aux buses, insert sockets for the channels and the sum, a 10-fold LED chain, jack sockets (Neutrik) and professional XLR sockets complete the extensive equipment.
A switching power supply is integrated. The mains cable socket is positioned so that no additional height units need to be taken into account for rack mounting.
