This successfully prevents losses on the way through cables and effects, the signal remains powerful and clear and retains its dynamics.The second setting S - like Sunday - results in an input impedance that is five times higher; details that have never been heard before become audible and, as the gain increases, your guitar tone takes on an unmistakable, characterful warmth that gives the preamp its name, because this sound is as pleasant as a cosy Sunday afternoon.Even at a gain setting of +18 dB, the LEHLE SUNDAY DRIVER II always remains clean and, thanks to its studio-compatible overall dynamic range of 130 dB, absolutely free of background noise. To make full use of the dynamics of your tube amplifiers, the input voltage behind the power supply socket is rectified, filtered, stabilised and then transformed to 30 V, which means maximum headroom.You can also use it as a DI box on stage or as a high-quality preamp in the studio: you can tap the output of the LEHLE SUNDAY DRIVER II symmetrically and also operate it via phantom power.Whether as a cable driver for large stages or in elaborate effect setups - with its wide and sound-neutral transmission range of 20 to 100,000 Hz, the LEHLE SUNDAY DRIVER II can be used universally.
