The Beta 91A combines the pick-up characteristics of the SM91 microphone, which was primarily used for pianos, with the rich punch of the Beta 91, which is particularly popular with low-frequency instruments. This successful combination results in the Beta 91A, a half-cardioid microphone with low background noise that can also handle extremely high sound pressures without any problems. And for even more variable use, the frequency response can be easily adjusted using a switch.
