Newly developed premium DMCV8 capsule

The V8 features the newly developed premium DMCV8 capsule, which builds on the renowned V7. It has been designed to capture the voice with even greater clarity and natural detail, delivering a balanced mid-range, outstanding detail in the high frequencies and an extended frequency response in the low frequencies. The result is a sound that is open, natural and ‘mature’ even before any EQ processing takes place.

Highly focused super-cardioid polar pattern for outstanding off-axis rejection

The highly focused super-cardioid polar pattern ensures excellent off-axis rejection and helps to isolate the voice even in noisy stage environments, whilst minimising unwanted crosstalk across the entire frequency spectrum. The result is a clear, focused vocal presence even in challenging live situations.

Elegant, matt black finish for a discreet stage presence

The V8’s elegant, matt black finish ensures a professional, understated look on stage and draws the eye to where it belongs – the performance.

Building on the renowned V7

Building on the renowned V7, the V8 delivers outstanding sound quality, impressive background noise suppression and exceptional feedback resistance, making it a reliable choice for professional live vocal performances.

The V8 features a new, patented integrated shock mount that effectively reduces handling noise and unwanted vibrations whilst protecting the capsule from mechanical shocks.

Gold-plated XLR connector

The gold-plated connector ensures a reliable, corrosion-resistant connection, guaranteeing consistent signal integrity and professional performance.
