The TM-2 Trigger Module is a simple and efficient solution for drummers who want to expand their playing on acoustic drums with electronic sounds. The device has a very compact design and can optionally be operated with batteries. Two trigger inputs allow the connection of either acoustic drum triggers and/or Roland pads (including acoustic drum triggers from the Roland RT series, BT-1 Bar Trigger Pad, KT-10 Kick Trigger Pedal). The TM-2 has internal sounds that are specially adapted for use with acoustic drums, as well as professional multi-effects. With the help of an SDHC memory card installed in the device, you can also play your own sounds in WAV format (sounds, effects, loops and even songs) directly from the card via the drums/pads.
Easy integration of electronic sounds into your acoustic drum kit:
The TM-2 has a compact design, is inexpensive and is very easy to attach to a hi-hat stand or to a drum rack using a standard clamp. The TM-2 can also be powered by batteries if required. The user interface is very clearly laid out and it is easy to assign the sounds to the trigger inputs. Customised settings can be saved in various "kits", which can be called up very conveniently using large control buttons.
Trigger inputs for Roland pads and acoustic drum triggers:
The TM-2 has trigger inputs to which you can connect two pads or two drum triggers simultaneously. You can use almost all pads from the Roland V-Drums series, including the dual trigger pads. Ideal additions are the BT-1 Bar Trigger Pad, which has a curved shape and can be attached to the edge of an acoustic drum, and the KT-10 Kick Trigger Pedal with a new, innovative and compact design with integrated mallet and striking surface. The TM-2 is also compatible with the Roland RT series acoustic drum triggers, which can be attached to the bass drums, snare and toms of an acoustic drum kit.
