Dynamic sound transformations

Thanks to Roland’s latest sound developments and the unique wavetable synthesis concept, n/vision enables musicians to create dynamic digital sound textures without having to sacrifice a familiar, direct synthesiser workflow. Mix and shape the two wavetable layers of the upper and lower parts independently of one another to create lively sound movements, evolving pads, aggressive leads, complex timbres and more.

Advanced oscillator modulation

The various modulation sources affect the wavetable position, layer balance, pitch and various sound-shaping parameters, enabling particularly dynamic sounds.

Wave Shaper

Wave Shaper technology shapes incoming waveforms through non-linear signal processing, thereby generating new overtones and unique sonic textures that go beyond the capabilities of traditional wavetable synthesis.

Versatile sound processing

Create an almost unlimited variety of sound characters with an active analogue-modelling filter and several filter models in the style of classic synthesisers. There is also an MFX engine with 17 effect types – including the famous JUNO Chorus – as well as separate delay and reverb. The reverb features a unique Shimmer mode, which adds an octaved timbre to the currently selected reverb type.

Flexible modulation

Step LFO, oscillator modulation, motion recording and extensive parameter control offer advanced users a wide range of possibilities for sound design.

Polyphonic sequencer and arpeggiator

Create basslines, chords and melody sequences with the dual 64-step polyphonic sequencer, supporting up to eight notes per step and featuring a motion recording function. An arpeggio function is also available, allowing you to create dynamic, evolving sounds in no time at all.

Compact Roland Boutique design

n/vision offers all the great design features of the Roland Boutique series, including the built-in speaker and flexible battery or USB-C power options for mobile music-making. It comes with the K-25m keyboard dock, which turns n/vision into a miniature standalone instrument that you can take with you wherever you go.
