Jupiter sound with modern enhancements
Based on state-of-the-art Roland technologies, the JUPITER-08’s precise voice allocation and pitch behaviour ensure an expressive, dynamic playing experience with extended polyphony and authentic vintage character.
Maximum creative potential
Thanks to its flexible sound engine, the JUPITER-08 is ideal for live performances and composition. In its default setting, the synthesiser offers an authentic retro experience in the style of the original JUPITER-8’s sound architecture. If required, you can expand the polyphony to 32 voices to meet modern playing requirements and create completely new sounds.
Polyphonic sequencer and arpeggiator
Create basslines, chords and melody sequences with the dual 64-step polyphonic sequencer, featuring up to eight notes per step and a motion-recording function. An arpeggio function is also available, allowing you to create dynamic, evolving sounds in no time at all.
Advanced Effects Processing
The JUPITER-08 offers powerful signal processing for sound and spatial effects, with a total of 17 MFX types – including the classic Roland stereo chorus – and separate delay and reverb effects. The reverb features a unique Shimmer mode, which adds an octaved timbre to the currently selected reverb type.
Performance-oriented workflow
The combination of dedicated controls, a hold function and an intuitive user interface enables fast and direct interaction – both in the studio and during live performances. Equipped with a USB-C audio/MIDI interface, MIDI ports and an external clock input, the synthesiser can be easily integrated into any modern production environment.
Compact Roland Boutique design
The JUPITER-08 offers all the great design features of the Roland Boutique series, including the built-in speaker and flexible battery or USB-C power options for mobile music-making. Also included is the K-25m keyboard dock, which transforms the n/vision into a standalone instrument in miniature format that you can take with you wherever you go.
