The Radial Hot Shot DM-1 is a combination microphone signal distributor and mute switch, which enables the singer to mute their microphone by pressing a footswitch and route the signal to the monitor system and/or the intercom. This 100 per cent passive floorbox is equipped with an XLR microphone input, a momentary footswitch and direct and switched XLR outputs. The direct output (OUTPUT A) is connected to the PA system as usual. The switched output (OUTPUT B) is connected to a free channel on the monitor console. When the footswitch is pressed, the Hot Shot routes the microphone signal to OUTPUT B, allowing the singer to use their microphone for private communication via stage monitors, in-ear systems and intercom systems. As soon as the footswitch is released, normal operation resumes. Compact and easy to use thanks to its plug-and-play design. The Radial HotShot DM-1 is made from 14-gauge steel, which gives it high durability, and features a robust black enamel finish.
