What is a Native Studio missing? Exactly! An analogue master section including talkback and volume control and headphone amplifiers. That's exactly what the new Central Station from Presonus is. With 5 stereo inputs and outputs (2 digital and 3 analogue) for CD players, DAT recorders and tape etc., there are plenty of connections to the outside world. With a completely passive signal path - without any operational amplifiers or ICs - Presonus guarantees the highest monitoring quality. The signal path is controlled via selected silver relays which guarantee optimum signal behaviour. The large and fast-working double 30-segment LED level meter enables precise levelling. Two headphone outputs can be routed to MUTE, DIM, INPUT select, CUE select and OUTPUT select. The built-in talkback microphone enables easy communication with the artist or engineer via the CUE output. When the talkback function is activated, the cue mix is automatically dimmed to optimise communication.
