Large jog wheels and MAGVEL FADER for dynamic scratching:

The large jog wheels are responsive, reliable and easy to use - with the feel of classic CDJ devices - and they each have a playhead position indicator so you always know where you are in the track. You can also customise the jog feel to find your perfect jog wheel 'weight'. The MAGVEL FADER is refined, robust and ready to handle every little movement so you can scratch with precision.

Scratch-like layout for freedom in an open format:

The DDJ-REV5's long tempo sliders run horizontally above the deck sections, while the performance pads and levers for dynamic performances are placed in the mixer section. This emulates the PLX series deck and DJM-S mixer setups beloved by open-format DJs around the world. Thanks to the proximity of pads, levers and faders, you can combine scratching with pad play and effects.

Dedicated buttons for easy Stems control:

With the DDJ-REV5's Stems buttons, you can easily create live mashups and remixes. Your tracks are split into stems in the software - vocals, melody, bass and drums in Serato DJ Pro or vocals, drums and inst (other instruments including bass and synthesiser) in rekordbox - which you can play separately.

Stems mute/solo:

Solo or mute the different stems to create your own mashups on the fly.

Separate stems

Isolate different stems of a track on separate decks to create live remixes.

Stems level

Use the EQ controls to adjust the volume for the individual stems.

You can use the different stems in combination with Deck Move, making it easy to create and control multiple live mashups and remixes simultaneously.

New Auto BPM Transition for smooth mixing:

With the new Auto BPM Transition, mixing between music genres with very different tempos is easy. Select a number of bars for the transition and when you press the button, the tempo of the track playing will gradually change to match the tempo of the track loaded on the other deck, allowing you to mix or insert the new track seamlessly. You can also set Stems, Auto Loop and Key Lock to be applied during the transition.

New Piano Play mode for intuitive musical performances:

Just like Pitch Play, you can use the 16 performance pads to trigger a cue point in different semitones. In the new Piano Play mode, however, the pitch changes are arranged so that the pads form a piano keyboard, with the "white" keys on the bottom row and the "black" ones on top. Choose from 3 scales, and even if you have no knowledge of music theory or scales, you'll find it easy to play a melody.

Multiple inputs and outputs and 2 USB Type-C ports for smooth DJ transitions:

Thanks to its multiple inputs and outputs, including an XLR master output perfect for use in professional environments, you can use the DDJ-REV5 as the centre of a larger setup. There are also 2 USB Type-C ports for PC/Mac, so it's easy to switch between DJs by simply pressing a switch on the controller.
