The PG-1 Type F MKII is a professional power conditioner with extensive features. It contains a bank of eight switchable, filtered and overvoltage-protected outputs. Two filtered outputs and a connection for a 3-pin XLR lamp are located on the front, with a further 6 outputs, an earthing terminal and the mains connection on the rear. The display and other LEDs on the front provide constant visual feedback on the input voltage as well as the status of earthing, polarity, filtering of interference signals, AC voltage and overvoltage protection. The outputs are individually optimised for digital, analogue or particularly "current-hungry" devices. A two-stage system for sequenced start-up and shutdown has also been implemented. To minimise unhealthy pop noises when switching speakers and amplifiers on or off, the "High Current" outputs are slightly delayed and are switched on and off last in the system.
Black Lion Audio presents the PG-P Type F, a portable power conditioner for mobile productions. Thanks to high-quality Panasonic condensers, the PG-P filter technology ensures three times higher noise filtering compared to other portable power conditioners in the price range. This puts the PG-P Type F on a par with well-known power conditioners in rack format. The overvoltage protection with an absorption capacity of 540 joules reliably protects studio equipment from damaging current peaks. In combination with its practical, roadworthy design, the PG-P Type F is the reliable, studio-quality power distributor for professional audio production on the road.
The DT101 Desktop Pop Filter is the world's first freestanding pop filter that can be conveniently placed on a desktop without a microphone stand or boom arm. The DT101 utilises Stedman's patented Proscreen metal mesh, which is used throughout the ProScreen product line, to effectively eliminate distracting pops from voice recording. The DT101 is a professional, high-quality pop filter that is ideal for podcast, broadcast and voice-over recording applications. The DT101 has a solid and heavy steel base with a soft foam pad to avoid scratching the base surfaces. Between the steel base and the pop filter is the same 33cm long gooseneck used on the PS101. This means that the DT101 can easily cover an area of up to 40cm above the microphone's footprint.Pop filters with a metal mesh, such as the DT101, are far more effective than conventional textile mesh filters. Instead of simply dispersing incoming pop sounds, the Proscreen directs the airflow downwards and thus completely away from the microphone capsule. Even when the microphone is extremely close, the Proscreen pop filter does not allow any popping "P's" or "B's" to reach the microphone. The large openings of the metal pop filter ensure that vocals can reach the microphone unhindered and uncoloured and that important details of every recording remain unaltered.
