The PAN08 from Palmer has 4 channels, each of which can be used as an active DI box, line isolation box or catch-up amplifier. The input combo socket (jack / XLR) accepts both balanced and unbalanced input signals. The output is transformer-balanced with a double XLR socket (front and rear).

The signal level can be reduced by 20 dB for microphone inputs and, if necessary, increased by 18 dB in 3 switchable stages for LINE inputs. With an output level of +12 dBu at 600 O load at 0.05 % THD/40 Hz and an output noise of less than -110 dBu, the device also fulfils high professional demands. A special feature is the rechargeable battery power supply. The supply voltage can be 9-18 V. This means that the PAN08 can also be used independently of the mains in outdoor operation.
