This 100W solid-state "micro-amplifier" is tour-ready and incredibly reliable in a variety of playing situations. Weighing just over 3kg, it can easily drive the heaviest cabinets on the market.

The sophisticated clean channel features bass and treble EQ controls as well as a studio-quality VCA compressor that delivers pristine clean tones with both active and passive pickups.

In addition, the Dirty channel offers an impressive blend of grit, crunch and classic saturation - all with a classic, tube-like "edge-of-breakup" sound not found in any other solid-state device. A second footswitchable volume control offers a stage-friendly boost option, while 3 band EQ controls and a presence control provide a whole world of changeable sounds to explore.

The Tour Baby is equally at home on a festival stage as it is in any studio environment. With a wealth of output options, including a balanced output without cab sim and two speaker outputs, it offers great flexibility despite its ultra-compact form factor.

At first glance, the Studiotone may seem like just another small amplifier...but it wouldn't be a KOCH amp if we hadn't equipped it with useful features and made it much bigger in terms of sound. A classic EL84-equipped Class A power amplifier, a completely newly developed loudspeaker and newly designed housing, three channels that can be called up via foot switch, as well as two effective voicing switches...all this is reminiscent of the best British amps of the 60s.The three channels (Clean, Overdrive and Overdrive+) offer everything from warm, round, clear sound to EL84-saturated, slightly compressive overdrive. The mid-shift processes the mids around 800 Hz, the three-stage bright switch offers the choice of attenuating, boosting or leaving the top end unaffected. The biggest surprises, however, can be found on the back: a serial effects loop, recording output with the option of varying the speaker type and microphone position, two further line outputs (one unfiltered, one low-level) and a headphone output! 4, 8 and 16 ohm speaker outputs complete the package, while the built-in load resistor ensures that you are always well equipped, even in the studio or when practising. Of course, the Studiotone also has an Accutronics reverb.
