With elements of the Orange Bass flagship models 4-Stroke and OB1 and with enough power for smaller stages, the Crush Bass 100 is an extremely versatile combo, both in terms of sound and application.
The key to the incredibly powerful, detailed sound of the Crush Bass 100 is the 100-watt power amp section, which has been developed using high-end engineering techniques that are rarely used in combos of this class. The use of individual components, as opposed to the integrated circuits that are often used, ensures sensational clarity of sound across the entire spectrum. The 15 Voice Of The World driver ensures that even the lowest frequencies are reproduced loudly, powerfully and clearly.
The preamp of the Crush Bass 100 has an active EQ section with adjustable parametric mids, which makes it possible to adapt the sound of the amp to virtually any style of music.
There is also the bi-amp inspired gain and blend function, which can be used to add variable levels of overdrive to the sound. Perfect for earthy vintage riffs through to heavily distorted sounds, without losing the important low end. This overdrive can be activated via an optional footswitch.
Other features of the Crush Bass 100 combo include a balanced line output, a buffered effects loop, a built-in tuner, an aux input and a headphone output with Orange CabSim function.
