Unlike a recorder, the NUVO TooT 2.0 is fitted with a full set of keys, which makes it easier for children to cover the small tone holes. Thanks to the additional ‘Firstnote’ mouthpiece, it offers children the opportunity to learn to play the transverse flute from a very early age. Initially, when using the ‘Firstnote’ mouthplate, the child can concentrate entirely on their posture and finger positions. In the second stage, the mouthplate is then changed to allow for a proper embouchure when playing the transverse flute. This change of mouthplate can be carried out easily using the lever tool provided in the accessories.
