To celebrate its 15th anniversary, MXR is releasing a limited edition set of the two most popular stompboxes in the series, consisting of the MXR Bass Compressor and the MXR Bass Envelope Filter. The Blackout series pedals are housed in a matte black enclosure with glossy black text and a bright yellow LED. The same great sound and durability with a stylish new look.

MXR M82B Bass Envelope Filter:

The MXR Bass Envelope Filter delivers classic analogue envelope filter sounds in an easy-to-use and compact pedal designed specifically for bass. The separate Dry and Effect controls allow you to dial in the perfect blend of effect and direct signal without compromising the low end. The Decay and Q knobs can be used to shape the wide range of filter tones, and with a simple turn of the Sensitivity knob, the pedal can be adapted to the respective attack - as well as to passive or active basses. The Bass Envelope Filter's power supply circuit is designed to withstand overvoltage or polarity errors, and its true bypass circuit preserves tone in bypass mode. The whole thing is housed in a rugged, lightweight Phase 90 aluminium enclosure for ultimate portability and to save space on your pedalboard.
