MOTU 10PRE

The 10PRE gives you everything you need to turn your computer into a powerful 24-bit/192 kHz digital audio workstation.

Using the included 40 Gbps USB-C cable (compatible with Thunderbolt 3/4, USB4, USB3 and USB2), you can easily connect the 10PRE to your Mac, PC or iOS device – and get up to 256 audio channels (128 in / 128 out), depending on your system. The class-compliant firmware and proven MOTU drivers ensure reliable compatibility with all your favourite DAWs – with industry-leading round-trip latency (RTL) of under 2 ms at 96 kHz. Thanks to USB Audio Class Compliance, you can also connect the 10PRE directly to your iPad™ or iPhone™ (via USB-C or camera adapter).

Whether in the studio or on stage – the 10PRE is ideally suited for both. As an audio interface or standalone mixer, it offers 26 separate inputs, including 10 XLR/TRS combo inputs for mic, line or guitar with individually controllable gain, pad and phantom power, as well as dedicated send/return loops on inputs 1–2 – and 28 outputs with 8 balanced 6.3 mm jack outputs, two 8-channel ADAT ports (optical) and two independent headphone outputs on the front panel. The renowned ESS Sabre32™ DAC technology ensures first-class sound quality.

Connect your entire setup – microphones, guitars, synthesizers, keyboards, drum machines, effects – and record everything with zero latency. Monitor and process your signals live – without putting a strain on your computer. The internal 32-bit floating-point DSP engine provides you with a 64-channel mixer featuring 64 inputs, 32 buses and high-quality effects: reverb, 4-band EQ (double precision), high-pass filter, gate and compressor – at all sample rates up to 96 kHz.

Using the two Gigabit AVB ports, you can easily daisy-chain multiple interfaces using standard network cables – or set up an entire network with multiple interfaces and computers using an AVB switch. This allows you to stream hundreds of audio channels between devices – with ultra-low latency, even over long distances. The 10PRE is compatible with the new 848 and 16A (2025) as well as older MOTU AVB interfaces.

Want full control in the studio? Use the talkback function, switch between up to three pairs of speakers (A/B/C), and check your mix at the touch of a button – including mute and mono buttons. With the loopback channels and your custom mix of any inputs, you can stream your session directly to the web.

After studio use, simply take the 10PRE with you on stage and use it as a standalone mixer with effects. Full control is via Wi-Fi using the CueMix Pro™ app – conveniently via your smartphone, tablet or laptop.
