MOOER has consistently impressed the guitar pedal market with its GE multi-effects range, and its latest product, the GE1000, is set to be no exception. The GE1000, with its futuristic and elegant ‘Walking Star’ design, builds on previous GE products and offers an even wider selection of guitar effects, preamps, amp simulations and features than its predecessors.

The GE1000 comes with an impressive selection of guitar effects and amp simulations, further expanded by MNRS GE Cloud support. MOOER’s MNRS files consist of IR samples from real amplifiers and enable authentic sounds that can be downloaded, uploaded and shared for free via MOOER’s “GE Cloud” app. The GE1000 also supports third-party IR files with up to 2048 sample points, allowing for further expansion of the pedal’s range of amp simulators.

In addition to the GE1000’s impressive amp and sound features, the GE1000 boasts an innovative, AI-driven automatic equaliser – a first for MOOER. This automatically adjusts a 5-band EQ to the user’s playing style and musical genre, offering further creative possibilities whilst retaining the flexibility of a manually controlled EQ interface.

MOOER hasn’t just focused on tone and pitch with the GE1000, as perfectly illustrated by the integrated Groove Station rhythm toolkit, consisting of a style-specific drum machine and a looper. These features have been designed to work both independently and in sync with the tempo, making them suitable for all kinds of jams. The looper even features automatic recording and count-in functions that trigger loop recording as soon as an input signal is detected, offering a unique, hands-free looping experience.

MOOER has always stood out for its innovative UI experiences, and the GE1000 will continue this trend. The pedal features a high-quality, 5-inch colour touchscreen designed for intuitive multi-effect workflows, whilst retaining some fan favourites from previous GE pedals. These include the signature MOOER multi-function knobs, buttons and an expression pedal for direct access.

Additional flexibility is provided by the pedal’s state-of-the-art control systems, including programmable MIDI ports, the included preset management software and compatibility with the MOOER Mobile App. This level of flexibility is complemented by the pedal’s audio routing solutions, which offer Bluetooth playback, USB audio interfaces, serial and parallel TRS stereo FX LOOP compatibility, as well as industry-standard input and output connections.

The pedal is available in two versions: the standard GE1000 and the GE1000 Li. The latter is equipped with a lithium-ion battery, allowing guitarists to use the pedal even when no mains power is available. Combined with the synchronisable Groove Station drum machine, digital tuner, AI-controlled equaliser and looper, GE1000 users can create their compositions without the need for backing tracks, bandmates or expensive equipment.
