Roto-Control – Motorised MIDI controller with innovative haptic feedback

Roto-Control is a unique motorised MIDI controller that redefines the interaction between software and hardware. Motorised, touch-sensitive endless knobs with freely definable haptic feedback enable precise and intuitive control. High-resolution displays show clearly legible parameter labels at all times, whilst the internal memory can manage over 16,000 possible assignments.

The compact and portable controller offers three powerful operating modes: MIX, PLUGIN and MIDI with Motion Recorder.

In MIX mode, Roto-Control integrates seamlessly into Ableton Live. Track names and colours are automatically taken from the current Live set and displayed directly on the screens – without any manual labelling or setup.

PLUGIN mode enables quick control of plug-in parameters. Once learned, parameters are stored in the device and are immediately available again in every Ableton Live session. Up to 64 plug-ins can be managed per track, each with up to 128 controls (64 faders and 64 buttons).

In MIDI mode, Roto-Control controls external hardware and software such as synthesizers, DAWs, lighting or media applications – even completely standalone without a computer. Up to 64 MIDI setups, each with 128 controls, can be saved and imported or shared via the Roto-Setup app.

The integrated Motion Recorder adds motorised automation to external devices. Up to eight parameters per setup can be recorded and played back as a loop – with various step lengths, internal or external MIDI clock, and playback modes such as Forward, Backward, Random or Ping-Pong.

Roto-Control combines precise motorised control, flexible MIDI functionality and direct Ableton Live integration in a powerful controller for studio and live performance.
