The Meinl Sonic Energy Sensory Handpans are custom-made and elaborately handcrafted. The stainless steel material is virtually water and moisture resistant. These handpans are built to last a lifetime. They produce clear, clean tones when struck by hand. The tone is pleasantly soothing, so these instruments can be used in a variety of applications for both performance and therapy. Stainless steel handpans are easy to play, have a long sustain and a wide dynamic range. Each handpan is tuned with a centre note and additional notes all round so that the player can play both as a solo instrumentalist and with a group.

These handpans are equipped with two resonance holes at the bottom: one pointing towards the player and one pointing towards the audience.
