The MAGICFX Deejay Shotgun is a handheld special-effects launcher for creating impressive confetti and streamer moments exactly when you need them. By pulling the manual trigger, you can set off the effect spontaneously and without any external control – ideal for DJs, presenters, stage highlights or precisely timed show accents. The shooter uses MAGICFX Electric Cannons as consumables and, depending on the application, achieves a range of up to approx. 20 metres at a discharge angle of around 45°.
For maximum mobility, the Deejay Shotgun is powered by 2× 9 V batteries, making it independent of power adaptors and cables. A status LED reliably indicates the operating status: green signals ‘ready to fire’, whilst red indicates that the system is still charging (usually for up to around 20 seconds). A safety pin ensures that the shooter can be securely locked before and after use. Reloading is quick and easy: insert the cannon, connect it, switch it on, release the safety – and the device is ready for action again.
With its compact design (approx. 505 × 190 × 75 mm) and a weight of around 2.6 kg, the Deejay Shotgun sits securely in the hand and is easy to control. It is designed for use in typical event environments (approx. 0–60 °C, 20–90% relative humidity, non-condensing). Please observe the basic safety rules: The discharge area must be clear – do not aim at people or animals, and avoid placing sensitive objects within the effective range. After the effect has been triggered, used cannons should be removed and disposed of properly. This gives you a reliable, portable FX partner for professional show moments with maximum spontaneity.
