LUMENRADIO CRMX StarDust

With Stardust, LUMENRADIO delivers the top model for demanding users and applications within the new LUMENRADIO CRMX series, which is based on the latest version of the reliable CRMX technology. In addition to LUMENRADIO's patented CRMX technology, Stardust includes new features such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, wireless firmware updates, improved frequency spectrum analysis for even more stable data transmission through smart error correction and greatly reduced RF power with dynamic transmit power adjustment.

LUMENRADIO continues to deliver the most reliable wireless DMX with CRMX and W-DMX compatibility as well as "Linking Key" which secures the CRMX transmission against other systems with user-defined keys and produces no visible delay due to a fixed latency of five milliseconds.

Stardust can transmit up to eight DMX universes simultaneously both as a transmitter and as a receiver, supports DMX 512-A (RDM) in both operating modes and can also transmit information about the connected and RDM-capable devices in addition to transmission-relevant data. It is operated via a colour display and a jog wheel, allowing the entire configuration to be carried out directly on the device. The integrated web server with its generous and clear user interface is also available for this purpose.

Stardust also has an integrated 5 GHz WLAN and a wired network interface, enabling the device to receive sACN and ArtNet data via cable and send it wirelessly via CRMX to corresponding receivers, where it is then output as DMX. This means that Stardust also functions as a protocol converter.

Stardust offers an enormous advantage when transmitting multiple universes. Not only are up to eight universes** independently adapted to the available frequency spectrum. Thanks to "Fleet Alliance", frequency management also works across systems with several Stardust units. Other features include the storage of user profiles, which provide quick access to recurring applications. The internal backup battery ensures transmission for up to 15 minutes even in the event of a power failure and allows configuration even without plugging in the mains cable. Power supply via PoE (Power over EtherNet) is also possible.

All this is accommodated in a robust and compact housing, which can also be mounted in a 19" rack, on the wall, on tripods or on couplers with various options. In addition to the powerCON TRUE1, the device is also equipped with a 10-20 VDC input for mobile use. A V-Lock battery adapter can optionally be used to connect standard camera batteries. XLR connections in 3-pin and 5-pin versions are available for connection to DMX equipment.

Stardust can also be controlled using the CRMX Toolbox app. The app was developed to connect, configure and monitor devices. One of the key features is the ability to transfer firmware updates to CRMX devices.

Thanks to the integrated Bluetooth connectivity, Stardust is able to communicate directly with tablet or mobile phone-based lighting control apps and transfer DMX data without additional interfaces.
