With the perfect monitor sound directly in your ear, you can move around the stage with complete freedom: the wireless U500® in-ear monitoring systems offer powerful performance and maximum reliability that are sure to exceed your expectations. We have developed them with state-of-the-art technology, a clear design and uncomplicated operation especially for professional users.
U500® in-ear systems offer a choice of 96 transmission channels with a selectable RF transmission power of 2, 10 or 30 mW for a range of over 100 metres. Fast and convenient infrared synchronisation simplifies transmitter and receiver setup. High-contrast OLED displays provide an optimum overview of functions, and individual user names can be entered and 10 customised presets saved.
For a clean, precise sound, the U500® in-ear monitoring systems have a 3-band EQ with parametric mids, a switchable limiter and a squelch. They can be operated in mono, stereo or focus mode, and a practical headphone output allows the input signals to be monitored directly at the transmitter. U500® in-ear systems are also characterised by extremely low noise with a signal-to-noise ratio of over 95 dB and a distortion factor of less than 0.3%.
The low power consumption of the U500® bodypack receiver ensures a long operating time of up to 10 hours with two AA batteries. A practical control allows the monitoring volume to be individually adjusted during the performance. The response threshold of the squelch can be set to one of three levels to ensure interference-free sound at all times.
U500® in-ear systems are available for operation in five frequency bands: 470 - 490 MHz, 514 - 542 MHz, 584 - 608 MHz and 655 - 679 MHz, in each of which you can operate 12 systems simultaneously; in the 823 - 832 MHz + 863 - 865 MHz range, six systems can be used simultaneously and utilised for your entire band.
