The LD Systems MAUI 66 G3 is the undisputed flagship of the series. With 3,800 W peak power and a massive sound pressure level of 135 dB, this all-in-one column PA is the ultimate solution for touring DJs, large live bands and event organisers at festivals, in clubs or at open-air events.
The system features a fully active 4-way design: 16 midrange drivers and 4 tweeters with phase plugs ensure perfectly uniform sound dispersion of 120° x 25°. Thanks to the special arrangement of two midrange drivers positioned above the tweeters, the MAUI 66 G3 delivers exceptional coverage and conveys vocals and mid-range frequencies with crystal-clear clarity right to the back rows. The column also functions as a passive cardioid system, attenuating sound towards the rear by up to 18 dB – ensuring a feedback-free stage and precise sound throughout the audience.
The bass foundation breaks records: a massive 18" neodymium woofer in an optimised bass-reflex enclosure delivers tight, deep bass down to 28 Hz. At the touch of a button, a second subwoofer can be set up as a cardioid bass configuration to completely eliminate low-frequency sound behind the system. Despite its considerable total weight of 57.1 kg (comprising a 45.5 kg subwoofer and 11.6 kg column elements), the system remains easy to transport thanks to ergonomic handles.
This powerhouse is rounded off by modern Bluetooth 5.4, an extremely robust enclosure with a polyurea coating and a straightforward, wireless plug-in system for setting up in a matter of seconds to an impressive total height of 2.44 metres.
