For professional DJs, event organisers and live bands, the MAUI 44 G3 redefines the standard for compact column PA systems. Never before has it been easier to provide powerful and absolutely even sound coverage across even the most demanding event spaces with an unobtrusive system. With increased headroom, improved coverage and true 4-way sound, this system serves the professional sector without compromise.
The two-piece columns now feature a total of 14 x 3.5" neodymium midrange drivers and 4 x 1" compression drivers. The innovation: the lower midrange drivers are horn-loaded, which drastically increases the coverage and the intelligibility of speech and vocals amongst the audience.
Thanks to the aerodynamically optimised bass-reflex design, the bass response remains precise, tight and free from disruptive airflow noise, even at the limits of the system’s capabilities. Rear-facing sound is passively cancelled in the midrange, ensuring the soundstage remains extremely quiet – this massively minimises feedback issues with microphones and protects the hearing of musicians and DJs.
In terms of connectivity, the MAUI 44 G3 offers absolute flexibility for everyday use in the hire and events sector: On the rear panel, there are two XLR/jack combo inputs, two XLR thru outputs for signal routing, and a dedicated SUB OUT for system expansion. Power is supplied securely via lockable powerCON connectors.
With four ergonomic handles on the subwoofer and the wireless plug-in system, the system can be loaded and set up and ready to play in no time at all by a single person.
