This applies in particular to the MAUI G3 MIX versions with integrated digital 6-channel mixer. All components are on board and perfectly harmonised: Mixer, effects, dynamics processing, DSP controller, power amplifiers and speakers. Wireless remote control via smartphone or tablet using the free MAUI app (iOS or Android) is also included.

The MAUI 28 G3 MIX is a highly developed, extremely powerful and smart premium-class column PA system with particularly superior audio qualities. It delivers a large, powerful and precise sound with 1,030 W RMS power (2,060 W peak), which is impressive in all applications: as a main PA for singer/songwriters and small bands, as a sound system for mobile DJ-plus formations or as a sound reinforcement system at weddings, company parties and other events.

The built-in 6-channel mixer can be customised to the user's preferences via Easy or Expert mode. The user decides, for example, whether they prefer intuitive 3-band EQs or a 5-way full parametric control. A comprehensive effects section provides the full range of reverb, delay and dynamics processing options. All mixer and effects settings can be controlled wirelessly via the app.

For stereo applications, two MAUI 28 G3 MIX can be linked via SysLink®. In this case, twice the number of mixer channels are available, and with the help of the REMOTE button, all channels can even be controlled from one system.

With its elegant design, the MAUI 28 G3 MIX looks particularly harmonious. The two aluminium column elements in the MAUI G3 series are located at the front edge of the subwoofer, which further enhances the seamless visual impression. The columns contain 12 x 3.5'' midrange drivers which, in combination with the innovative phase plug design and the 2 x 1'' tweeters, ensure even sound distribution with constant horizontal dispersion. In addition, the BEM-optimised waveguide in front of the tweeters transports the high frequencies to the rear audience areas.

The crossover point, the transition between the mid-range and tweeter speakers, has also been optimised to reduce harmonic distortion and cancellations and make the sound even more transparent and powerful. The result: a particularly precise reproduction of vocals and instruments over the entire 120° x 30° dispersion range.

The columns of the MAUI 28 G3 MIX are designed as cardioid speakers. This ensures controlled low-mid frequencies at the front and attenuation of up to 18 dB at the rear, as well as a clean stage sound field.

With its larger 12" chassis and four bass reflex ports, the audibly more powerful subwoofer reproduces bass down to 37 Hz clearly and powerfully. When using a second subwoofer, the bass range can be boosted by 6 dB and operated in cardioid configuration at the touch of a button (preset). In addition, the extremely hard-wearing polyurea coating of the subwoofer can withstand even the toughest demands "on the road" without any problems.

The MAUI 28 G3 MIX is a real sound machine, but also impresses with its practical features for everyday use by solo entertainers, singer/songwriters or small bands. Transport is simple as usual, while the improved, invisible connectors between the elements provide increased stability during set-up - nothing can upset the MAUI so easily...
