The SQ-1 is a compact step sequencer with 2 x 8 steps. Thanks to its wealth of connections, it can be connected not only to the MS-20 but also to a variety of other synthesisers.
This means that both vintage analogue synths and modern compact synths can be controlled with a single device. You can switch between different synthesiser modes and use the step buttons to create spontaneous performances just like with an instrument from the Volca series.
